In a move to raise awareness in her local community, Sarah Hillmandecided to take a group of pupils, teachers and social workers from Frome in April 2006 to see the reality of poverty in the developing world in a region where HIV affects 80 per cent of children. Kenyan Government approves orphanage

The orphanage got a visit from government officials who were so pleased that they are giving them official charity status in Kenya. This means that in the future they have a responsibility to make sure the Trust is provided for.

 

We have electricity!

We are now hooked up to the mains so we are very happy about this.We are working hard on the farm and the children are learning new essential skills that will help cater for the school and help them look after themselves and their families in the future.
